Kilkenny Cooling Systems: Modern Manufacturing since 1972
Kilkenny Cooling Systems has been located in the Hebron Industrial Estate, Kilkenny since it was first established in 1972. We have since moved premises three times to accommodate our growing product range, continuous modernisation and the increasing demand for our products. The factory is family owned and operated and has provided local employment since its inception.
Our current plant comprises over 35,000 square feet and was completed in 2002.
Coldrooms
Kilkenny Cooling Systems possesses one of the most modern cold room manufacturing facilities in the UK and Ireland. Our computer controlled Hennecke high pressure polyurethane foaming system affords outstanding product reliability and excellent control over the manufacturing process. This system was initially developed for the exacting automotive industry.
Our 10 Metre sandwich panel presses were installed in 2005 and 2007, with a third due to arrive later this year, and can accommodate panel lengths of up to 10 Metres at a variety of thicknesses, with two platens in situ simultaneously.
Our cold rooms are manufactured specifically to each customer’s order. Each constituent panel is individually lockable.
Metal Fabrication
All of our stainless steel components are laser cut on our sheet metal laser cutter. Our copper and stainless steel tube components are formed on our CNC tube bending machine.
This technology affords us manufacturing accuracy and product quality that competitors simply cannot match.
